Christine Miller completed her doctoral studies in Piano Performance at Ohio State University where she studied with George Haddad, Richard Tetley-Kardos and Sylvia Zaremba. She has coached with Grant Johannesen in New York City, Andrius Kuprevicius in Cleveland, Ohio, Gyorgy Sandor at the University of Michigan and Menahem Pressler at Indiana University.
After her debut at New York's Town Hall, Dr. Miller was active as a recitalist and soloist with orchestra. As a finalist in the First International Gottschalk Competition she developed a keen interest in the music of Gottschalk and subsequently developed and presented several different multimedia programs on his life and work.
Dr. Miller moved to Anderson in 1989 and has been a member of the Academy piano faculty since 1990.
